ATMs are particularly at risk at night – whether installed in an exterior wall or in a self-service lobby: from explosive attacks, tampering and vandalism. Outside operating hours, the APC (ATM Protect Cover) closes off the entire front of the ATM with a solid steel cover.
We supply, install and maintain the system – for new ATM installations as well as retrofits.
A steel cover rated resistance class RC3 according to DIN EN 1627 completely closes off the fascia, card reader and cash dispenser.
The APC opens and closes automatically at set times – or closes as soon as the alarm system is armed.
Built-in sensors detect sabotage and attack attempts and report them to the intruder alarm system.
The APC adds a visible mechanical barrier to dye and ink systems that make banknotes unusable in an attack.
The APC is suitable for through-the-wall ATMs in exterior walls as well as for indoor ATMs, for example in self-service lobbies. Together with you, we assess on site how best to use it at your location.

Yes. The APC can be retrofitted on all through-the-wall ATMs, regardless of manufacturer. During a site survey we clarify the local conditions, such as the façade and the connection to the intruder alarm system.
From planning to a finished system usually takes around six weeks. The on-site installation itself takes just one day.
Automatically: either by a timer with fixed opening hours or linked to the intruder alarm system, so the ATM is closed when the alarm is armed.
Without power, the ATM itself is out of service too. If you want to operate the APC independently of the mains, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) can be added – we will be happy to advise you.
No, the two complement each other. The APC makes mechanical access to the ATM harder, while dye and ink systems make stolen banknotes worthless. We will advise you on the right combination for your site.
We do. In addition to supply and installation, we handle regular maintenance and fault repair – with agreed service levels if required.
We will assess your site and prepare an individual quotation.
